EP Ascension Bay Mantis Shrimp has been our best permit fly in Mexico. The Golden Sand color in the size 1 hook is our go-to permit fly in the southern Yucatan.  The Ghost color tied on a size 1 hook is a great pattern for chasing permit on the flats.  If you are headed to chase permit in Mexico don't go without a few of these.
